Founder and Advisor
Don DiCostanzo is a seasoned entrepreneur best known as the Founder and CEO of Pedego Electric Bikes, one of North America’s leading e-bike brands. Under his leadership, Pedego grew into a global brand with over 240 stores and a reputation for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Before founding Pedego in 2008, Don held leadership roles in the automotive industry, including as Global President of Wynn Oil Company. He later scaled Pedego before stepping back in 2021, selling a majority stake to a private equity firm. He now serves on the Pedego Board and advises startups across various industries.
Don is also a passionate advocate for sustainable transportation, community giving, and environmental stewardship. He’s been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Inc., and on national TV, and was named a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
When he’s not mentoring founders or championing clean mobility, Don enjoys boating, skiing, hiking, classic cars, and giving back through philanthropic initiatives.
Gene brings decades of technical and entrepreneurial experience to Genius Car Wash. After earning his Engineering degree from Cal State Fullerton, he began his career designing military systems at Hughes Aircraft before moving into the tech world with leadership roles at Advanced Micro Devices and Synopsys.
Gene’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch multiple companies, including a successful security systems firm sold to ADT, and The HomeWorks Group—an upscale smart home company that eventually merged into Bravas, now the nation’s largest luxury home integration company.
After a brief “retirement” spent traveling, building a home, and developing a vineyard, Gene returned to the workforce with Genius. He now oversees the development and buildout of Genius Car Wash locations. Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying time with his five kids and three grandkids, tackling projects around the house, or riding anything with two wheels.
